Inevitably your MEC, LEC, negotiating comittees will eventually give up transparency cleverly explaining away why they have to remove transparency, express why you are not informed enough, trained enough, or smart enough to make decisions. Then they will float a substandard TA your direction and claim its the best they can get due largely to the difficult management decisions that require more money to execute, while demanding more productivity from you. While i hope this wont be your experience if I were you I'd print this prediction out to see how close to reality it becomes. Surprisingly I'm an optimist, but having watched 4 years + of ALPA excuses and insanity I have yet to be inspired, except for known crew member.
The internal dynamics at an airline like Delta are not the same as Frontier. I don't think we can necessarily look at your results and extrapolate them to predict our results.
I don't disagree with the pathetic picture you paint of human nature, nor do I disagree that history repeats. I just think the individual motives guiding your NC, your MEC, your senior widebody CA's, your MD-80 FO's etc. are entirely different than ours.
