SWA is great...much better than I could have ever imagined. I have seen a better QOL and relationship with management than I ever did in 7 years.

Don't get me wrong though...RAH still has some good qualities...notably the pilot leadership. The company has beat down enough people that I think those that are going to be there the next few years may see some changes for the better. You know as well as anyone RAH doesn't have the best track record when following contracts or doing what they say they will. Firing outside seniority (not furloughing, firing) because they wanted to get rid of a fleet type, trying to upgrade outside senority, trying to take away vacations, being forced to sign non-disclosure agreements over grievances....the list goes on and on. Only in the past few years has the pilot leadership been able to start to take a stand against management. It is still an uphill battle, but I think it will require the pilot group as a whole to get behind the effort. As long as people keep touting "1.5 year upgrades", I don't see it happening.
