The problem with doing a few at a time in a large base would mean displaced pilots could find themselves displaced again and again over and over meaning unhappy people not to mention repeated moving fees etc.. for the same pilot. I suspect some kind of LOA for relief on this to domicile protect affected pilots.

This question has actually been asked to the higher ups numerous times and the answer has always been the same...vacancy bid and goes by seniority, no "base protection". Sucks for the junior guys in base but that's what they've stated. Seniority rules now at Allegiant, no more side deals.
