A regional route is any route that the majors gave to a regional airline. For now, they still control them. Not sure about delta because United is my goal but United has about 100 additional 737 and 320 aircraft arriving on property as we speak and over the next few years to get rid of over 50% of its 50 and 70 seat aircraft market. Good for us, bad for those who can't move on. The regional era is changing rapidly. Bigger planes but many less.
