Jumpseats of course are already taken. Off season it's not too bad but in general I avoid it like the plague. I am from ATL. Delta base to Delta base is always tough. My recommendation is you do a two legger. ATL-SDF/OMA/OKC-MSP are pretty good. You can also fly Compass metal on the MSP legs. Southwest is also a nice little secret. They have two seats up front and not too many commuters as MSP isn't a base for them. Oh and if you get there early enough, the guy in the black double-breasted jacket can't boot you out either which is nice.

Interviews should have a ticket in the back though. I sure did.
The interview will be positive space of course, it's the future commute I am trying to nail down.
Looks like staying in ATL and going to Compass may not be smart.
I didn't mean to hijack the thread, thanks all for the info, I'd really like to fly at Compass but only if commutable.
I could transcon commute to LAX and only lose 2.5 hours going west but returning east after a trip whew, I'd lose a whole day!
Thanks again everyone. Please PM me with any other feedback as to not hijack this thread any further.
