Also consider LAX. I am in Houston and the Miami commute is pretty easy. Not sure about DFW to Miami. My sim partner bid LA as soon as he could, he lives minutes from DFW. He said the commute was easier.
DFW to Miami is busy, but you should be okay if you plan ahead. In addition to all the normal non-revs, there are a lot of A1 and A3 (deadhead/positive space) folks going to and from the training center in Dallas. There are about 10 flights daily and all the airframes have two jumpseats. I always reserve the jumpseat when I know my schedule, but I've only had to use it once.
