1) The fact that there is almost no connection between the direction of the line pilots, and the actions of the 12 is probably the most important. I think it was always difficult to amalgamate big surveys, and (infrequent) direct input into direction, but they tried to break the tie with more and more polling, and the 12 still don't believe what they have.

2) The fact that people who actually hold a majority among themselves, and actually will win the argument, can't be patient or intellectually honest enough to let the others be heard. There are thousands of guys who voted for someone else, who didn't get their voice heard.

This was needless, and it was silly. It's only hubris that makes you think you can, or should, be so undemocratic as to proceed like this.

3) I don't know what underhanded tactics have or have not taken place over the years. I'm talking about the group that has pledged, and is responsible for, getting us a deal now.
