The ATP-CTP course is strictly for preparation to take the ATP Knowledge Exam (written). ATP Flight Training is normally separate expense.
I'd modify this a bit - the CTP course is a pre-requisite for the ATP knowledge exam but I wouldn't call it preparation exactly. I found the 30 hours of coursework to be academically interesting but not really relevant to the actual written test. The sim time was moderately fun.
