But while we are on it, SEA and PDX reserve staffing isn't below mins like SFO / LAX/ DEN. It's the other UA 175 bases that we have that don't have proper staffing. Hmmm maybe because a shift in where that UA flying went as opposed to where we thought the majority of it would be???
According to your elementary logic, SkyWest said Eff it. Let's blatantly have terrible QOL for a certain percentage of our pilot group while we let 50+ qualified guys sit at home not used.
You should go to SGU and fix all these problems because you seem to have answers and know the future.

Do you think those that wanted to transfer but were artificially locked in the CRJ, just said eff it and left? And please don't tell me that you think SEA (14.5%) and PDX (16%) is sufficient reserve staffing. LAX is low at 11% but DEN is at 20% and SFO is 14.5%
Don't hold your breath with SGU being proactive on anything. They could do a temporary transfer as short as a month until they get the flying, or use the planes that they have staffing for to cover all the extra flying they won't turn down.
I can't wait until we open DTW so we don't have all those 4 hour sits in DTW. Oh wait. We already have DTW open and it hasn't done anything to improve pairings. Plus now we just have those same long sits in MSP, DEN, SLC and SEA. Weird that it makes the duty day EXACTLY 12 hours. No premium pay for you!!
