To expand on this so you know exactly happened, after the bid period closes on the 11th, at some point (ALPA told me this is not a set date and time...it's completely random every month) the PBS system takes a snap shot of your current month's iCrew schedule and uses that to construct the next month's schedule. Any changes that you make after this snap shot isn't taken into consideration when your category's PBS runs are made. Once the initial awards are finished they published and then uploaded into iCrew. At that point another FAR check is made and any conflicts are removed from iCrew with no pay protection for you.
This could benefit a pilot if the conflict is made over a major holiday weekend, like Labor Day coming up but, again, with no pay protection.
