As a blanket statement, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. There are multiple types of LOAs out there and different ones have different requirements.
As far as the furloughed pilots are concerned, they have 10 years from date of furlough to return so we are talking various 2018-2019 dates.
I meant furloughed pilots and used the LOA term because those absences are the bulk, but yeah, I had heard most were pumpkins after this yr. Wasn't there even an update on FT about OTS hiring being slowed due to company obligations for furlough returns that had to happen this yr? I could go try to find it, but it's just not that important to me. The point of the whole issue is the poolies and their concern about how the tng delays affect them.
