Ever divert late in the evening and don't have a room reserved? Scheduling sets you up for a show 10 hours later while your waiting forever on a room. Twice, I've changed my pick up time 9 hours after finally getting to my room. It is still a concern and you need to be aware of it.
Take a look at the Scheduling handbook dALPA puts out. It still refers to it as 8 hours behind the door. I've suggested twice it be updated. I haven't even received a response. A FAIL and setting up our own for a greater failure.
