I think you are putting too much stock in anonymous forum posts. There are quite a few very decent overnights, and some absolutely unacceptable overnights. Not unlike most regional carriers, most are just ok (IMO). It's another thing in need of fixing. Some people like other things than I like about hotels, so they are obviously unhappy.
A bunch of forum posters take the extreme view. They are venting a lot of built up frustration that many of us feel. But most of us like the job, and like each other. Yes we're tired of contract violations and low relative pay. I'd say 90% of us are ready to do what we must to fix it (mgmt speak no other language than money, so only money will bring them to the negotiating table. Striking seems to be our only option). But we are NOT a slam click culture. I like going out with our crews.
