"I just have a ppl, but I have an incredible desire to see how far I can go with flying, including flying for the airlines someday. Moreover, life is so short, and I can't imagine not even trying to make my dreams come true. Unfortunately I'll pay a heavy financial price. Well, at least I understand this before going in at full speed. I don't think I'll regret it though."
My main hope is you don't come to this site as a 8 post PPL and get discouraged about the career based on Skyhigh's ramblings.
The truth is Skyhigh's posts are what happened to one person. See it, understand it, and don't let it happen to you. His choices in the career, and his choice to leave the career...his personal situation, was unique to him. My success and my story are unique to me, just and his story is unique to him. There are some people that just don't belong in this business. They get weeded out by the process. What gets me about Skyhigh is how he feels the need to come tell those of us who are happy with our choice what losers we are.
Again, if his story discourages you, be sure to keep reading the vast majority of this forum who, knowing what they know now, would still do it all over again.
