Could be a very embarrassing and costly settlement for sure. Hard questions will likely be asked as to why this poorly thought-out, knee-jerk, vindictive course of action was taken. Even then, this captain's termination was jaw-dropping, given the evidence of what happened. This has cost the company dearly in terms of negative national media coverage. That's going to continue and will really make G4 look bad if they lose this, which I suspect they will.
The company hasn't been much for accountability, until lately....
