Let's be clear that no one has to do any type of training in the middle of the night and shouldn't. You can not be disciplined for refusing such an assignment and IMO instructors volunteering to do that training especially for new hires that may be too timid to stand up for themselves should be ashamed of themselves.
We are in the middle of negotiations, management blatantly violates the contract allowed use of the advanced ground instructors, then threatens the group for filing a grievance, then exploits a loophole for volunteers for night training. Are we really going to clean up their messes while we continue to be the second lowest paid Airbus pilots? Quick! I hear a phone in scheduling that needs to be answered.
