Some things to consider before you apply:

Training pay $1600 per mo.for 4 months or completion of IOE.
$1600 - insurance ($500 family plan) and - taxes = $750-800 per mo.

You will be on training pay for 4 months because they can't train fast enough.

Once you're free and clear of that and roll into first year guarantee 55 hours at $77 per hour. = $4235- insurance - taxes = $3000 per mo (roughly)
THEN You're imputed taxes on the cost of your gateway travel to and from base. So unless you live in ANC or LAX (Jr. Bases) you're now TAXED AGAIN for the cost of your hotel & tickets to and from work 3-4 times per mo.
3000- 500-700 (taxable travel) =$2500 per mo.

There are lots of QOL holes in this contract. Most effect your pay and your ability to retain any good pay as you gain seniority. Do your research know before you go. Lots of better options.

Oh, and getting open time or extra time, you have zero control over. Volunteer your day off, you may or may not be called. No system for open time bidding. No system for open time swapping.
