United furloughs only have to provide 30 days notice to come back and I'm not sure how long LOA pilots need to give notice. The airline staffing is in such a state of flux right now I really don't think they could give you guidance. The bottom line is that new hires are needed, we are growing mainline and you will get a class, but pilots on the seniority list get first crack.

as far as the regional CPP deals go the contracts state a very small number must be taken by UA per year. I have no idea what that number is or what year UA must start taking pilots. I know its based off a percentage of pilots on property and is a small number, most likely will be less than 50 pilots per year combined Xjet and CommutAir.
