The APT-CTP is good forever, the written results are only good for 60 Months (5 Years). If you fail the written you have to go back to a cup provider for retraining, like you would for any failed FAA test. the restraining would be going over what you missed on the test, not the whole course. finally the ATP-CTP is a check box item, it is required to take the test, but in no way does it actually prepare you to take the test.
