Right now there really is no benefit to signing on with the pipeline instructor program other than travel benefits. Not just Envoy but any of them. The regional recruitment strategy is constantly evolving for lack of a better term. First a pipeline program, then bonuses, now regionals are paying for your last 100 hours of flight time. Pay has increased markedly for First Year FO's in the last 12 months. Things only seem to be getting better.
This is what I was thinking. It would suck to commit to one of these programs and miss out on a better deal later on. And who knows what things will look like by the time I get to 1500. Do you think any other airlines will adopt similar programs in the future?
