I understand we are giving in section 1. Do I like it? No, but it is a reality and those out there who think they can keep the lid on it are going to be disappointed. The key there is getting language that protects our jobs and doesn't allow the company to outsource flying that we can do.
The retirement piece is, for me, the single biggest part of this contract. I would be willing to look the other way on a few things as long as the 16 percent B fund is there and all company imposed caps are removed. I flew with a captain yesterday who doesn't think the company will ever give us a retirement that differs from the current structure. I hope he is wrong.
