Any commercial flying you do outside Delta still counts against your FAR max, but the simulator doesn't.
I've bumped into a few who have done that at FSI and FTI. Fun for a while, but the pay is so-so and the motivation dwindles.
" I can pick up a 2 day trip at DAL and that will equal 4 days of teaching over there".
Also liability was catching up to FTI after a few accidents.
