Lol, took southwest what, 4 years to get a deal done, and that's without going to arbitration. There's not much anyone can do aside from letting the process work it way through. The larger the disparity NK is from market rates, the less like likely a deal will be done outside of a strike/arbitration. It's only been a year since the contract expired, it'll be 5+ years before a new one. Don't get too worked up, just sit back and enjoy the growth.
The difference is the current hiring at the legacies. Swa is losing guys to the legacies at a pretty strong clip just like we are. Their management probably desires to get out ahead of it. Our arrogant pricks are literally going to try to beat the labor market and will finally give us a raise when the labor markets kicks their ass and we are in a bad spot
