Notwithstanding the silly argument over what the BCP doing the telephone interviews is or isn't looking for regarding commuting, I think that it is important to impress upon anyone who may be considering Allegiant that commuting to a company that flies day trips almost exclusively and can schedule half of your days off as singles is a bad idea. Doing so can make you miserable.

Being awarded a virtual base may help with this situation, but it seems yet to be determined how the contract will change the demographic of those bidding and holding the virtual base.

Regardless, if one is looking for a commuter friendly airline, Allegiant should really be last on the list.
