Guys, I just got hired and am supposed to start INDOC on 26 Sep. The first two digits of my SSN are <10. I totally expect to be based out of JFK but hope to get SEA at the earliest opportunity. My question is: can a guy get based in SEA faster if he/she already has a 737 PIC type rating?

Having a type won't help you hold any plane faster. Its all about seniority.
You're probably going to get a 88 to NYC. In which case, you can probably hold a 737 or C-series to SEA in a year once your seat lock is up.
