Polarized don't work in an MD-80 or 737. The windscreens show all kinds of rainbows and some digital instruments disappear in the MD.

BTW you can tell if you have polarized glasses by holding them at arms length, looking at the sky and rotating them in a clockwise/counter clockwise manner. You will notice the sky change color and cloud contrast change markedly if they are polarized.
