Newbies will find AA training is focused on pushing the correct button in response to the appropriate cue, thoughtlessly executing litanies, and remembering which version of "well, what they want you to do is..." is current with today's instructor, today.

If you are one who still reads the manuals in preperation for training, don't bother mentioning that the technique of the day is in conflict with what their manual says, you will he branded a troublemaker.
