Hey guys,
I'm definitely not that kind of mil guy that walks into a room and says "look at mine". In fact, as a non-academy, previous navigator, and low hours for a retiring guy, I'm just the opposite. The guys you hate wouldn't give the Regionals a glance...they are too good for that. I honestly think they are the small minority (pun intended). I'm just looking for help, and sometimes it seems like I'm getting advice for someone in different shoes. I want to fly bad. I don't mind doing time in the regionals. And if there's a good chance I'll be still at a Regional in 7 years, I want to make a wise choice. But I've been told (again, don't take as arrogance), that mil guys with 1000+ PIC and 1500+ total are getting snapped up immediately. If this is true, I'm looking for QOL over the shorter term--1 to 2 years maybe. I apologize for my "...maybe I didn't give you my stats..." crap line. I didn't realize how it came across here. I see now it sounds like a douche. Cut me a little slack. These forums don't allow you to really 'hear' a guy, and it's hard to mine for data without trying to be specific. I've been given some great insights here, but I'm still swimming in contradictory advice, so I keep asking questions....
