It seems to me that these events are all designed to be "Self Congratulatory" for the GO employees with the mindset of "Oh, look at us, we made it through the summer. We stepped up and 'volunteered' out on the ramp. We saved the day!" and "Oh, BTW, Pilots, FA's and Mechanics who go out and do their job everyday...FU!"
