What is reserve time like on CRJ 700 (ORD)? Is it better than E145 (ORD)? Are schedule pairing better on the -700?
If given a choice and would not mind deciding to live in ORD, would you choose the -700 or E145?
Optimistically trying to make Lemonade with lemon choices i've been given.
Reserve times have been varying from 6-12 months for both fleets. The CRJ has longer stage lengths available which makes for better pairings but it seems to be doing a lot more E145 type trips as they up gauge equipment. The shorter reserve time over the last few years has favored the E145 but I've seen the CRJ come out ahead on multiple occasions over the years.
Having been on both the CRJ was a much better experience from a performance and noise perspective. Even given the future uncertainty of the fleet it's a more enjoyable plane.
