The Ric Wilson letter specifically says industry leading pay rates for new pilots along with a retention bonus.

If I had to guess I'd say it's Republic pay +$.01, plus the annual $10,000 for everyone, including new hires. Existing FO's will get a small bump to stay ahead of the new hire pay.

I've said for a long time that pilots have the leverage. AAG needs the lift. I don't believe it's a coincidence that upper management at AAG was changed recently and Robert Isom, the new President of AAG, is very favorable to the Wholly Owned's.

If this latest plan doesn't attract the numbers they want, increased measures will be taken (bringing the flying to mainline). There is too much money out there and our lift is too valuable for them to ignore. The whipsaw is finally dormant (dead?) and it's a good time to be at a WO.
