Default DALPA Communication - Other employee groups

As i've flown over the past several months i've noticed increased hostility between flight attendants and pilots. Why? Ignorance. The company is playing this on all fronts and honestly...DALPA should as well.

DALPA should make an effort to communicate with other Delta employees (specifically flight attendants) as to what's on the table as far as joint venture and RJ scope protections and how what Delta pilots are fighting for will not only benefit Delta pilots but all Delta flrontline employees.

Here's a perfect example of what i'm talking about...it's a letter from the Hawaiian ALPA MEC to other Hawaiian employees:

Ignorance is Delta managements biggest asset. They played it perfectly during the flight attendant union elections and they are using it now to pit other employee groups against the big, bad, greedy pilots.

Sure, this would be a departure of past practice where DALPA had no contact with any other employee groups and tried to please management and cut out mediocre deals. Obviously, based on your rejection of TA15, and the new DALPA leadership you elected i'm guessing you think that was not the way to go.

If you support and agree with such inclusion please contact your DALPA rep and suggest this to them. It's something that has been done with other carriers and in my opinion would be more favorable for all Delta pilots to have other employee groups on your side rather than helping management.
