He is not an advisor.

The one year pay with the fake role is an agreement to waive his right to litigate his dismissal.

He was fired.

Remember in 2007.

D1 was fired.

I think Powers usefulness has run it course. His skill set was limited to driving margin performance by using the employees to fund the airline. We don't have much left to give back or as Mark said in a conference call "we have a few levers we can pull levers'. Now that we don't have many levers left to pull he is he is gone.

We need to drive or keep margins high with growth and risk and that is not his strong suit.
