Rounding 20-hours to an even 1500 is hardly lying, especially if you discuss it with the recruiter when they call you. Saying that you have never failed a check-ride and having the company PRIA discover you have is lying, and for that you will get fired. If they leave no room on the application for doubt that is one thing, though I don't think that they'd refuse to interview a candidate because of a twenty hour discrepancy that was self-reported before the interview. I stand by my interpretation.
