Totally unrelated, BUT, being that the spirit of this thread is information for guys to decide wether to leave the regionals or whatever job they may be at, I wanted to share this.

I'm four year 747 FO pay. My small paycheck of the month (half of guarantee no per diem) is $2049. This means as an FO on fourth year pay, if I take my two weeks vacations the way God intended, that is, maximize days off, I make $4100 dollars for the month. If I do my PC on days on, conflicting my pattern, as God intended as to preserve ALL my off days, I'm looking at a third month of $4100 dollars for the month + a bit of per diem. There's one way and one way only to make money at Atlas, and that is to work above and beyond what would be required of you to work at a real airline and above and beyond what is healthy to work. Only then will you not be ashamed to compare W2s with your buds at the majors. Just omit the part where you work three times as much. It used to be a no brainer to leave the regionals for Atlas. I honestly don't think that is the case anymore. IMO.
