I understand it that way except #3, additional 5k if you take one of the older fleets since everybody wants the shiny new E175. I haven't signed on just yet, I'm debating whether it's worth the additional 5k given the chance vs. flying the new airframe.
I've found that in general, the older the airframe the more mx problems it tends to have, at least MH-60S vs. MH-53E in the Navy...
