If you think flow is such a bad thing to have, then go somewhere else. Good luck getting hired at a legacy in front of the 8,000 regional captains that have way more experience.
First, I want to say that I NEVER made any statement that the flow is a bad thing. I think your right in the fact that it's great to have the flow in your back pocket. What upsets me is when Envoy promises that your at AA in five years when they know that they can't guarantee anything.

Secondly, experience does not 100% determine your possibility of being hired at a major airline. I personally know two pilots who have very different credentials. One is 25 y/o with around 5,000 TT, very little TPIC, no mil, online degree, some internal rec and did a lot of stuff outside of flying and he just got hired at DAL. The other is 39 y/o with a little under 9,000 TT, over 4,000 TPIC, degree from prestigious aviation university, no mil, 10+ internal rec but did not do much outside of flying and he hasn't been hit up by any major.

My reason for all this questioning is because there is a very strong possibility that this "Envoy can't do stuff" becomes realistic and what I'm trying to do is figure it all out.
