It's was basically Lyle just calling Bruce and asking him to agree to the PSA like deal over the phone. You don't just accept an offer without getting the details first. It should have been presented to the MEC as a formal proposal. Instead it sounds like PDT mgt botched it (no surprise) and AAG wasn't on top of the situation. A deal is still in the works, it's just going take way longer than it should have because the process wasn't initiated properly. This is PDT mgmt SOPs though, look at the iPad program and every other thing, amazingly though everyone keeps their job.
