If you look at the data, historically there hasn't been a lot of failures. The problem with the Dash AQP is that a lot of the instructors and check airmen have so much experience with the aircraft, you get into this "technique" ****ing match. The jet was different in my experience, as everyone is still learning the aircraft and very few of our people have a lot of experience in the real world with it. We did get some Expressjet folks and others who have experience and that is beneficial both in experience and approach. Some of the elders are transitioning to the jet now, and I hope its eye-opening for them to be in the student's shoes and to feel that pressure again. It will be a long time before they can apply any "technique" to this bird. Overall, the 145 AQP program I felt was very straightforward with little nonsense involved.
