I think what has set people off is that in the CP newsletter it mentions it looks negatively on the codeshare partners when we don't wear the hat, however someone made a good point, AA doesn't have a hat requirement, and every other DCI carrier like Endeavor, Skywest, etc don't require the hat. So don't bring down the "codeshare doesn't like it" when we're probably the smallest Delta connection carrier and the only one who has to wear a hat...

I also get horrible hat hair so I look even less professional saying goodbye to PAX after a flight because it makes it look like I just woke up
