This is too funny. The Moakies send up a trial balloon to sell a horrible deal and when it fails resoundly, the excuses come.
I'd love an online poll of all the Delta pilots. Captain Malone strongly opposes them and wastes hundreds of thousands on telephone polling. Which interpreted the way the guy who writes the check wants it to be.
There is no excuse for not polling all the Delta pilots online for $300 a year. It builds unity and credibility. Phone polling is 1960s. Online polling allows time to think.
