That same guy smacked a 900 empennage into a 757 winglet.(caught on film) Apparently this individual went to Piedmont after Mesa downgraded him. Now the other one is still at Piedmont and didn't have any issues that I know of.
He was never downgraded, he was given the option to resign. We had 8ish? People upgrade without the required time around that same period, and it was because they projected flight time before they were considered "pic". It wasn't pencil pushing, it just wasn't correct. Don't make up the details just because you only know half of the story.
Also, I wasn't one of them.
