First year pay would be the same regardless and second year would pay $95 with an 18% increase, which is about a dollar difference between that and our current 717 second year rate. It would top out around $122 right and $180 in 3 years. That's no more a "C Scale" between that and our current smallest fleet rates than it would be calling 717/88/320/737 rates a C Scale compared to a 777.

And that's using worst case existing CRJ-900/E190 rates (yeah that's right, and we almost got those). If they blended it with the E195 rate we'd top out at $211 left and $144 right. Even second year in that case would be $184 and $99.

It would still be the junior airplane, but would likely see very quick upgrades and rapid extreme seniority in the right seat for those who chose to stay.

If that wasn't enough, they'd have to raise rates further with a mid contract increase. Or band it with the 717. I'd be happy to work with them on that.

No more outsourced DC-9 sized "RJs" period.
