I am concerned about the simulator as that will be a brand new experience.
I am coming from instructing part 61.
The simulator training is excellent. From what I have been told, it seems to be one of the better simulators....didn't really notice a difference once I got in the plane. I came from instructing as well and didn't have a problem. The speed of a jet takes getting used to, but otherwise the instructors do an excellent job at explaining everything and will go the extra mile to help you out if you ask and are making a reasonable effort. Same goes with ground school. Make sure you have all the ep&l's memorized BEFORE coming to ground school, it will allow you to devote all of your time to studying the classroom material. Also, looking over Excemption 3585 and FAR 117 isn't a bad idea, most people seem to get hung up on those topics during indoc.
