A person who is incapable of figuring these things out in their own probably shouldn't be anywhere near a jet aircraft anyway. He has a long road of job fairs, rear kissing (networking), logbook updating, and commuting ahead of him. But by all means..let's focus on the current reserve time for pilots who were hired during a major lull in hiring and a period of stagnation.
