The last full year statistics available are for 2015. So comparing with 2014, Delta mainline lost about 5500 widebody block hours- a small percentage. However, this is during a period when overall international block hours were growing at high single digit rates.
As to jobs lost, it's more like jobs gained by our JV partners. The implosion of the RJ scheme has led to an increase in domestic mainline flying. That combined with retirements has mitigated any job losses.
Going forward, our net widebody fleet- including 7ER is down 7 airframes. So 2016 looks to continue that trend in the face of increasing international growth.
