I left corporate (Walmart in fact) about 3.5 years ago and have no real regrets. Sure I miss my Hilton Diamond status and I'm a little more tired at the end of my trips. But the control over my schedule has been priceless. I haven't missed a single family event, kids soccer game, or parent teacher conference since I left. Took me about 3 years to get back to what I was making there (of course that was before their big pay raise)
Airline flying is 95% flying and 5% BS.
Corporate flying was 95% BS and 5% flying.
I only worked for one department though so your mileage may vary.
