Prepare for things to get worse before any TA is reached.
I'm a pretty strong supporter of the union and a committee member but really it's this kinda talk that makes me real skittish about unions in general.
The check-in policy is annoying and they should not have done it but we are not talking about a major change. Sorry not to tow the line but in the grand scheme of things this is not the end of the world.
As far as the suiting jacket goes I don't see the issue with them reminding us of a policy. Did we need it as professionals? Probably not but we all know some folks are going to "forget."
Again I'm not sipping the blue juice, I don't do RSA's and I don't don the blue gloves, but talking about going on strike next year seems pretty premature.
Maybe I'm naive, but I don't want this to go from a great place to work to a constant b%$ch session at work.
