Auburn is awesome. In the foothills, above the fog, below the snow. 2 hours to SFO and 1.5 to Tahoe. That was where I planned to reside until life happened and we ended up in NW Florida. Still have a 2.3 acre lot there adjoining the AUN airport with a view of the Sierras...if you are interested!
