And yes, I was originally given an upgrade number which was significant. Yesterday I was told the new number which is much higher. Yes, it's HUGE. Is that too much for your sensibility to handle? I can nudge you in the right direction: AMR, gone. Scott Kirby, gone. Kenji Hashimoto neutered. Mesa honeymoon over and dead. Pay increases, retention bonuses, flow going exactly as expected at 30/month despite Eagle Lounge claiming during all of 2014 that it would NEVER happen. AA now asking for 40/month. Recruitment numbers spiking and taking off. More new hires blows open the lid on possibilities here. I would tell you what MANAGEMENT is already starting to mumble about if our NEW recruitment numbers play out as expected...but you would just accuse me of providing false hope or whatever. So I won't say anything.
I agree with most of your post, but we have not been sending 30/mo this year. I realize that it is because of the letter T pilots but it is still inaccurate. 176 through 9 months is 19.5/mo. If you don't want to be called a cheerleader don't embellish on the facts.
